Whataburger Buffalo Ranch
Whataburger wanted a social media only activation that would get customers talking about their new limited time only Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich.
There isn’t a more persuasive form of marketing than word-of-mouth. That’s why we decided instead of having Whataburger (the brand) tell folks about the new sandwich, we would have people’s friends by incentivizing them to tag their friends in a reply to our Facebook post or a tweet using #JoinTheHerd. The reward? A customized Gif of he or she and their tagged friend in one of three Buffalo Ranch themed settings.
